My name is Emily Taugner, and I am graduating this May with a B.S. in Environmental Science and a concentration​ in Chemistry. ​​​Although I am originally from within the city of Chicago, I immensely enjoy spending time outdoors appreciating the natural environment. This one of the many reasons I chose to obtain my undergraduate degree at Ithaca College located in the beautiful Fingerlakes Region of New York State .

          This summer I'll be in Ithaca, NY working at the Sciencenter's science camp, as well as continuing my internship at the Green Burial Council. Through my education and experiences at Ithaca College, I've discovered an interest in sustainable chemistry and sustainable agriculture/food production systems. After graduation I look forward to obtaining a higher degree and pursuing a career in a related field. ​
